Menasha, Wis. – Faith Technologies, a leading electrical and specialty systems contractor, has been named to the 2014 Projects of Distinction list by the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin for its work on the Plexus Manufacturing Solutions facility in Neenah, Wis. On Feb. 5, 2015, the company’s work was honored for gold-level achievement at the ABC of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction Awards banquet, which took place at the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
The Projects of Distinction Awards program recognizes the most noteworthy construction projects in Wisconsin and showcases ABC of Wisconsin members and their employees’ quality of construction performance. For the 2014 awards, 36 winners were recognized based on sustainable practices, unusual design and craftsmanship, innovation, overcoming difficult challenges and providing excellent client service and satisfaction.
The 473,000-square-foot Plexus Manufacturing Solutions facility replaced Plexus Corporation’s three leased facilities (two locations in Appleton, Wis., and one location in Greenville, Wis.), and includes space for offices, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, mechanical operations, and parking for more than 1,000 vehicles.
For the project, Faith Technologies provided building information modeling, design-build, conceptual estimating, value-engineering, safety management, constructability review, fast-track scheduling, energy analysis, team management, integrated project delivery, cost control, project management and industrial services.
All general contractor and subcontractor members of ABC of Wisconsin with projects completed between Oct. 1, 2013 and Sept. 26, 2014 were eligible to submit nominations for the Projects of Distinction Award. The 2014 panel of judges included:
