Rogers Memorial Hospital-Brown Deer Increases Ability to Serve
(Brown Deer, Wis.) Seven months after bringing new specialized services to the region and four months before opening a new hospital, Rogers Memorial Hospital–Brown Deer has taken an additional step toward serving the needs of patients with mental illness and addiction.
“After a strong start to new programming launched last August, we’re pleased to announce the opening of our second phase of development at our Brown Deer (Wis.) campus,” said Paul Mueller, chief executive officer of Rogers Memorial Hospital.
New partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) opened mid-December at Rogers’ specialized outpatient facility at 4555 W. Schroeder Drive in Brown Deer. Services include:
Adolescent dual diagnosis partial program
Adolescent dual intensive outpatient program
Adult women’s mental health partial program
Adult dual diagnosis partial program
Adult posttraumatic stress disorder partial program
The dual diagnosis programs provide care for patients facing both addiction and mental health issues. The adolescent-focused programs are a first for Rogers.
In August, Rogers announced a relocation and opening of new specialized PHP and IOP services in Brown Deer. This outpatient facility is across the street from an existing building now owned by Rogers which is being transformed into a state-of-the-art 56-bed behavioral health inpatient hospital. When the hospital opens, altogether these services will comprise Rogers’ third acute care hospital campus in southeastern Wisconsin.
In addition to the outpatient clinical programming, Rogers InHealth, an advocacy arm of Rogers focused on reducing stigma through education and storytelling, is now located in the new space.
