Panel to share insight with senior living providers at annual conference

(Appleton, WI) Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. project principal Randy Bremhorst will share his expertise and insight on senior living design as part of a case study panel discussion of Woodside Senior Communities during LeadingAge Wisconsin’s 2014 Fall Conference and Annual Business Meeting. The conference takes place in Green Bay, October 1 – 3.

Bremhorst will be participating with Woodside executive director Scott Ross, Amy Ruedinger, founder and president of Pinnacle Innovative Healthcare Solutions, LLC, and Mike Edwin from Wipfli. Together the panel will provide a holistic view of the journey taken by Woodside to develop a master plan and reposition their Green Bay campus to meet the needs of the senior living market for the next 15 to 20 years. The master plan resulted in a two phase, $15 million facilities project to renovate and expand their full continuum of care senior living campus.

“This is not an uncommon situation,” said Bremhorst. “Many senior care organizations are realizing they need to alter their care offerings and reposition their campus in order to support market needs. Our panel will discuss the process Woodside followed to ensure their continued success.”

The panel will also provide details on aspects that were reviewed during the process including financial considerations and an analysis of existing campus facilities that aided in the development of the master plan.

Bremhorst has more than 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry. Hoffman is a nationally recognized leader in senior housing planning, architecture, and construction and designed and built the first two Green House® Homes in the state of Wisconsin, which are located at Lutheran Homes of Oshkosh’s Eden Meadows campus.

LeadingAge Wisconsin is a statewide membership organization of not-for-profit corporations principally serving seniors and persons with a disability. The organization provides programs and services to assist members in meeting the needs of elderly and disabled individuals.
