Milwaukee, WI (October 12, 2011) – Jason M. Schleicher, Ph.D. and Albert Bianchi, Jr. have joined Michael Best as a members of the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
James M. Schleicher, Ph.D. is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group and Life Sciences team. While in law school, Schleicher worked for the Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender where he represented clients of the Public Defender, conducted client and witness interviews and advised clients with respect to pleading offers from the prosecutor. He also was a Research Assistant with the Schmuttenmaer Research Group, Yale Chemistry Department. Schleicher received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2011. He also graduated from Yale University with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry in 2008 and a M.S. in Biophysical Chemistry in 2003. He is also a 2002 graduate of Michigan State University, The Honors College where he received a B.S., with high honors, in Chemistry.
Albert Bianchi, Jr. is an attorney in our Madison office and is a member of our Intellectual Property Practice Group, focusing on intellectual property litigation matters. Prior to joining Michael Best, Bianchi served as a law clerk for Senior U.S. District Judges John C. Shabaz and Barbara B. Crabb and, most recently, Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Conley at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2007 from Marquette University Law School. Bianchi is a 2003 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received his B.A. with distinctive honors.
