Gov. Walker: To sign tort reform

Madison–Tomorrow Governor Scott Walker is going to sign the special session tort reform bill into law.

This will be the second special session bill Governor Walker will sign into law. This legislation contains comprehensive tort reform that will help ensure Wisconsin has an economic environment that allows the private sector to create 250,000 jobs.

“Improving Wisconsin’s litigation climate is vital to reviving our economy,” said Walker. “This important part of our special session legislation sends a message directly to job creators that Wisconsin is open for business.”
