Gov. Doyle: Announces tax credits for Processed Metals Innovators, LLC

Project to create four positions

MADISON—Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Processed Metals Innovators, LLC, Bloomer, Chippewa County, will receive $21,450 in tax credits from the Economic Development Tax Credit Program from the Department of Commerce (Commerce) to purchase laser equipment and software.

“One of my top priorities is to help move companies and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens,” said Governor Doyle. “I’m pleased that we could assist Processed Metals Innovators, LLC in bringing new jobs to Wisconsin.”

Processed Metals Innovators, LLC, formed in 1998, is a fully integrated steel fabrication facility. The company specializes in sub-assembled parts for the appliance and home improvement industries, such as metal components for freezers and fire extinguishers. This project will create four positions and represents $715,000 in total investment.
