GMC’s Future Workforce Committee to unveil diversity tool kit and partnership with Kellogg Center for Executive Women

Milwaukee – Local business leaders will be introduced to two new diversity initiatives of the Greater Milwaukee Committee’s Future Workforce Committee as part of the GMC’s monthly membership meeting on Monday, October 11 from noon – 1:30 p.m. at the University Club.

Jeff Joerres, Chairman and CEO of Manpower, Inc., and Co-chair of the GMC’s Future Workforce Committee, will introduce a new online diversity and inclusiveness tool kit designed to help support business’ diversity and inclusion efforts. The tool kit was designed in collaboration with FUEL Milwaukee, and includes best practices, policies, and management tools provided by local business leaders. The tool kit will be used as a resource to help the region attract and retain top talent.

Additionally, the GMC will announce how a new partnership with the Kellogg Center for Executive Women at Northwestern University and Milwaukee Women inc will help advance the GMC’s Board Candidate List to a higher level. In this new partnership, Kellogg will integrate names from the GMC Board Candidate List into their database, which is the first exception Kellogg has ever made in this regard. Until this partnership, the confidential Kellogg database has been populated only by candidates they have vetted themselves and who have completed their Women’s Director Development Program.
