Local attorney to join prestigious international society

Franklin, Wis. – Tim Trecek, of the Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. office in Milwaukee, has been invited to be inducted as a fellow of the International Society of Barristers, a prestigious society that seeks to honor top tier trial attorneys throughout the world. Currently, the society is comprised of 650 attorneys, the majority being from the United States with 40 members from Canada, and 12 from other countries.

“To be recognized and made a member of such a prestigious association is both gratifying and humbling,” said Trecek. “Recognition by one’s peers as a successful trial attorney provides a certain aggregate affirmation of the sum of his work that is otherwise only obtained through successfully obtaining justice one client at a time.”

To qualify for the Society, candidates must first be nominated by a current member of the Society before undergoing a rigorous screening process designed to demonstrate the candidate is a first-class trial attorney with top-quality skills, employs absolute integrity in all aspects of his or her work, and carries him or herself with a sense of amiability, congeniality, and humility. If the candidate successfully completes the screening process, his or her nomination is then voted upon by the Society’s National Board.

Trecek and his fellow Habush Habush & Rottier colleague Rob Jaskulski have been invited to join the International Society of Barristers, and will be officially inducted during a ceremony to be held at the Society’s national convention in March of 2011 in Hawaii.

In addition to his invitation to be inducted into the International Society of Barristers, Trecek has recently been recognized in both Personal Injury Litigation and Products Liability Litigation in Best Lawyers in America, and was accepted into The American Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Lawyers. Furthermore, he was recently made a member of Legends Society Top Lawyers, as well as both the Million and Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

“Tim’s recent achievements are well deserved honors. In my view, he is one of the sharpest trial attorneys currently practicing, and it is a privilege to work alongside him,” said Robert Habush, president of Habush Habush & Rottier, who is also a member of the International Society of Barristers.

Trecek earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 1993, and resides in Franklin with his wife and three daughters.
