MILWAUKEE, Wis. (September 8, 2010) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady is pleased to announce that Cristina D. Hernandez has been selected to the Inaugural Class of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and the Association of the Corporate Counsel (ACC) Pilot Project on Value-Based Skills: Equipping the Next Generation of Latina Corporate Practice Leaders.

Ms. Hernandez, a partner in the Firm’s Milwaukee office, practices in the Commercial Litigation Group. She focuses on complex litigation involving traded companies and financial institutions around the country and has extensive experience representing her clients in federal and state class actions, securities investigations and litigation, antitrust investigations and post-merger disputes. She earned her law degree from Harvard Law School and her A.B. degree, cum laude, from Harvard-Radcliffe College.

The HNBA has partnered with the ACC to implement an executive leadership training program for leading Latina lawyers. The project will include an estimated 50 Latina HNBA members from the private sector and several corporate chief legal officers who will collaborate with a top notch faculty to present an interactive “Master Class” in Value-Based Law Firm Management Skills. This exclusive Executive Leadership Training Program is being offered as part of the ACC’s Value Challenge Initiatives and speaks to the mission of the HNBA’s Commission on the Status of Latinas in the Legal Profession of furthering the advancement of Latinas in the profession.
