Wisconsin Family Business Forum: Welcomes three new members

Combining the importance of business with the complexity of family

Three area family businesses have recently become members of the Wisconsin Family Business Forum: Eck Industries, Inc., Green Bay Insurance Company and Conger Toyotalift.

Founded in 1948 by William Eck, Eck Industries, Inc. is a 4th generation business. Eck Industries is a manufacturer of aluminum castings with over 62 years of experience in the aluminum foundry business. Based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Eck employs over 200 full-time employees in their 200,000 square foot facility.

Green Bay Insurance Company, founded in 1968 by Joe Schiegg, is a 2nd generation business employing 24 employees at the Green Bay Insurance Center. The agency is made up of dedicated insurance professionals working as a team to provide property, casualty, life, and employee benefit insurance.

Founded as LPM by Lloyd and Dorothy Conger, Conger Toyotalift is now a 3rd generation business located in Green Bay, Wausau, and Neenah. Conger Toyotalift represents a variety of manufacturers providing service and parts for all makes and models. In addition to being a Toyota forklift and Aichi Aerial dealership, they also are a material handling distributor and offer rentals, tires, and safety training.

WFBF is the oldest family business organization in Wisconsin, with a membership that includes family businesses and sponsoring family business professional organizations. The Forum provides members with a confidential network to discuss issues unique to family business.
