RACINE, Wis. – With many Wisconsin manufacturers seeing unprecedented drops in production volumes, one local company announces plans to expand its operations.

Marini Tool is moving forward on a 10,000-square-foot expansion to its existing facility. The addition is sited on the north end of the existing facility located at 5100 21st Street in Racine.

“The timing was right for Marini Tool to consolidate our operations under one roof to maximize efficiencies while taking advantage of today’s preferred construction pricing,” said Tom Marini, President and CEO of Marini Tool and Die Company.

The expanded facility will be used for additional manufacturing and warehouse space, while adding an additional truck dock for shipping and receiving. It will also feature a new entrance and added surface parking. The structure was also designed for future expansion to the west.

“My grandfather started this business in 1952 with a steadfast commitment to remain a firmly-established Racine-based company and it brings me personal pride to be in a position to see the company grow during these uncertain times,” said Marini.

Riley Construction is providing construction services on the project. Earlier this year, Riley Construction was named the no. 1 Midwest manufacturing contractor by Midwest Construction magazine, the second consecutive year the construction company has earned that distinction. Racine-based ARC Architectural Group is the designer on the project. Community State Bank is providing the financing for the project.
