Faith Technologies’ Jerry Ahrenholz Memorial Golf Outing donations provide 40,000 meals for Second Harvest Foodbank
MADISON, Wis. (June 30, 2010) – Faith Technologies, a full-service electrical and specialty systems contractor, has raised nearly $6,000 this year for the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. The seventh annual Jerry Ahrenholz Memorial Golf Outing was held at The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wis., on Tuesday, May 18. More than $36,000, the equivalent of 254,625 meals, has been raised for Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin over the seven year period.
Proceeds from the golf outing will cover expenses to provide more than 40,000 meals to southern Wisconsin residents, the largest donation in six months.
“We are committed to helping Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin achieve their goal of ending hunger in southwestern Wisconsin,” said Heath Luedtke, Faith Technologies’ Vice President – Madison.
Faith Technologies hosted more than 100 golfers from a cross-section of customers, suppliers and employees. Also in attendance were Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin employees who acted as volunteers throughout the day to help ensure the event’s success.

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, a private, nonprofit organization, distributes food to more than 400 charitable programs that feed the hungry in 16 southwestern Wisconsin counties.
