Luxury Homes Division Stakes a Claim at Keller Williams Elm Grove

Attracting Mega Luxury Agent Suzanne Kresse to merge her brokerage with KW

(ELM GROVE) (WISCONSIN) (5/28/10) — Keller Williams Realty Elm Grove has announced that it has added agents to facilitate the Luxury Homes arm of its business. Dedicated to serving the high-end home market, the members-only Luxury Homes division of Keller Williams Realty offers eligible associates extensive training and a luxury home designation.

Suzanne Kresse, formerly of ‘Luxury Property of Wisconsin’ made her decision to merge her successful Pewaukee brokerage with the Keller Williams model just this past week. Suzanne brings over $13 million in list volume to the Elm Grove office.

“It is awesome that we have been selected and approved as a flagship Luxury office. We have created a luxury division and selected Suzanne Kresse as our luxury director, she has a solid record in luxury sales.” Said Chris Slinker, Operating Principal of Keller Williams Elm Grove.

The Keller Williams Realty division is spearheaded by Dee Shultz, a long time leader in the luxury homes market in Austin, Texas. She says that this program allows more KW associates to capitalize on the luxury homes market across North America. “When you look at the luxury homes market – it’s been more stable than the real estate market as a whole, so we want to arm our agents to capitalize on that opportunity,” says Shultz.

The educational requirement is provided by industry heavyweight, The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (http://www.luxuryhomemarketing.com), as part of a continuing partnership between The Institute and Keller Williams Realty. “These educational and sales requirements allow affluent sellers to know that the agent representing them has a true and solid background in luxury sales and marketing. Unlike the other companies that just slap a luxury approval on the agent once they pay the brokerage for it.” Said Kresse.

“We know that when we listen to what our agents need, we develop the right product for them,” says Slinker. “This program was built by our agents, for our agents. As an agent-centric company, we wouldn’t do it any other way.”

The program provides benefits that many other companies cannot match. Each KW agent that qualifies as a member gets access to free listings on WallStreetJournal.com, Free membership to international MLS ProxioPro, Free monthly reporting for luxury clients from Altos and marketing packages in the DuPont Registry.

Keller Williams commitment to making the program a true representation of the affluent market have strict sales and membership requirements for offices and agents to become members. Many of the competitors only require a short course in order to become ‘certified’. Keller Williams requires a consistent sales record in the $500k+ priced market in order to become a member of the division.

Adds Kresse: “We know that this program provides greater visibility for our luxury listings, a strong support system for our agents currently servicing affluent clients, and a firm foundation for growth to our associates who are looking to key into the market. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
