SVA: SVA professional to present on charitable gift planning at Olbrich annual financial education event

Madison, WI – E.G. Schramka will be presenting “Charitable Gift Planning” a financial education event at Olbrich Gardens. The seminar will occur on Thursday, May 20 from 10 a.m. – noon.

“Charitable Gift Planning” draws on the experience and expertise of E.G. Schramka, a certified public accountant and attorney who is Vice President of Trust and Estate Services at SVA’s Trust Company, LLC.

Mr. Schramka will explain how, even in a tough economy, charitable giving can play an important role in an effective financial plan that honors your personal values and saves you tax dollars. This educational event is free for Olbrich members as well as the public and will cover the basics of estate, income and gift taxes, charitable IRA rollovers, gift annuities, trusts and other ways to give to charities.
