ELM GROVE, WI — Keller Williams® Realty Inc. announced today that Christopher Slinker, a top ranked & former First Weber team leader and the leader of the Menomonee Falls First Weber’s #1 selling real estate team in dollar volume and number of closed transactions from 2007 to 2009, is now at the helm as operating principal of the new Keller Williams Elm Grove office in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. The Chris Slinker Team closed over 71 transactions for approximately $13+million in sales last year.

“Keller Williams Realty has shown that their model is agent centric, which was one of the driving forces in my decision,” said Slinker, who has left First Weber after 5 years as a team leader. “I have been researching and contemplating for the past year, and I discovered that I needed to reinvent my business to revitalize it. I was implementing some of the same philosophies and mirroring the Keller Williams system, so finally, one day I said…why reinvent the wheel? And, the answer was clear to me that the time was right for Keller Williams.”

Slinker added, “KW’s ability to provide my clients a national stage at a critical time for real estate is vital to strong sales and success. They focus on the agent success much more than other companies in our area.”

“ We are enthused and excited to be entering the Milwaukee Real Estate market with talent like Chris Slinker. Chris is a highly accomplished agent with an outstanding reputation. He has displayed exceptional leadership skills in forming a strong executive team for the first of our seven Market Centers.” said Todd Butzer, North Central Regional Director of Keller Williams Realty International.

In addition to Slinker, KW is announcing that Pat Mullikin, a top ranked & former Homesale Realty agent has been promoted to ‘Broker of Record’ for the Elm Grove office. “Ben and I are thrilled to be part of introducing the Keller Williams business model and culture to the metro Milwaukee real estate industry” said Mullikin. Pat Mullikin and her son Ben have an impressive sales record exceeding $6 million in sales the past year.

Keller Williams has also announced the official hiring of Jenny Stoffel, former Staff Accountant and Financial Reporter for Corporate Central Credit Union as the Market Center Administrator and Karen Tomasini, former executive assistant at WVTV-Milwaukee, to take the front desk director duties for the Elm Grove location.

Keller Williams-Elm Grove plans to open the doors on May 3rd at its location on Bluemound Road. A series of Milwaukee and outstate agents plan to join this office over the summer months and will be announced at those times.

This announcement comes on the heels of a year of positive growth for Keller Williams Realty throughout the U.S. and Canada. The company outpaced the downward trend in the real estate market and grew in every category – opening 30 new franchises, ending the year with a 16 percent year-over-year increase in the number of contracts closed per agent and more than 76,879 associates across North America (up three percent). In addition, the company gave back more than $32.2 million in profit share to its agents.

In addition to recently becoming the 3rd largest real estate company in the U.S., surpassing Re/Max, according to Steve Murray at REAL Trends, Keller Williams Realty received the highest overall satisfaction ratings from home buyers among the largest full-service real estate firms from J.D. Power and Associates for the second year in a row, and was ranked as the No. 1 real estate franchise on the 31st Annual Franchise 500 list by Entrepreneur magazine.
