(Madison, Wis.) – The recent earthquake disasters shook the Earth and moved associates of locally owned JX Enterprises / Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois into action. Associates contributed each week to the Red Cross in exchange for the ability to wear jeans on Fridays. On March 5 these donations will be presented to Tom Mooney, CEO of the American Red Cross – Badger Chapter.

“The American Red Cross has played an integral role in the recovery of Haiti, with over one million recipients of food and nearly 33,600 people receiving medical treatment. I’m glad our associates selected an organization whose efforts make a difference in the lives of so many families.” Said Eric Jorgensen, President & CEO of JX Enterprises.

The donation will be presented by Eric Jorgensen and Herman Goth, General Manager of Peterbilt Wisconsin – Madison at 2:00 p.m. on March 5 at the American Red Cross facility located at 4860 Sheboygan Avenue, Madison, Wis.

JX Enterprises / Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois associates have been active in supporting the community through their “casual for a cause” program since spring of 2009. Through this program associates can wear jeans on Friday in exchange for supporting a charitable organization.
