MILWAUKEE (March 19, 2009) – Focus on Energy, Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy initiative, is proud to sponsor the annual Wisconsin Renewable Energy Summit, which will be held March 25-28, 2009 at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee. This year’s summit, titled “Green Business – Unlimited Economic Opportunity,” will focus on the role renewable energy such as wind power, solar energy, geothermal, green buildings and bio-energy technologies, will play in expanding Wisconsin’s business landscape.

“Attendees will learn about green technologies and practices, energy policies and legal issues, green career pathways and much more,” said Don Wichert, director of the renewable energy program. “The information shared is meant to help businesses take advantage of the unlimited economic benefits available to them.”
