MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (Feb. 11, 2009) – Cousins Subs Systems, Inc. today announced the opening of a new store in Franklin, Wis. The store, at 7700 S. Lovers Lane and located within the Shoppes of Wyndham Village in the heart of downtown Franklin, is owned by Mark Beierle of Muskego.

“This store will actually be a family affair. My sister, brother-in-law and a long-time family friend are all partnering with me, so our No. 1 goal is to make this a family-friendly restaurant that everyone can enjoy here in Franklin,” said Beierle. “We all have very close ties to the city, and we know that everyone here in Franklin is excited to see what stores come into the Shoppes. It’s an exciting time here in this small, close-knit community.”

The new restaurant, which seats 32, is conveniently located off of Highway 100 and Drexel Avenue. It can be reached by phone at (414) 425-1310. FAX orders are accepted at (414) 425-1556.

The Franklin store is the second for Beierle, who has an extensive restaurant background. He says he especially enjoys giving younger employees a chance to get hands-on work in what many times is their first job experience.

“I love introducing teenagers to their first jobs and watching them progress and make achievements,” said Beierle. “Watching them develop work ethic and responsibilities really makes me feel like I accomplished something. To make an impact like that in a young person’s life is amazing.”

The store on Lovers Lane is the second Cousins Subs in Franklin. The other Cousins Subs store is at 7178 St. 76th St.

About Cousins Subs

Cousins Subs is based in Menomonee Falls in suburban Milwaukee, Wis., and is a national sub sandwich chain with stores throughout the Midwest and on the West Coast. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East Coast-style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients.
