STEVENS POINT, Wis. (September 9, 2008) – Clifton Gunderson- ranked as one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and consulting firms – will present a free webinar on October 8, 2008 titled, “The New Form 990- Are You Ready? Understanding the Revised Form 990.” The webinar is designed to educate attendees on the newly redesigned tax Form 990 and explain how the changes will impact their organizations.

Laura Catlett, CPA, JD, is a senior tax manager in the firm’s Timonium, Maryland office. She has more than 13 years of experience and specializes in the taxation of exempt organizations. Catlett works closely with clients to assure that their strategic and compliance related needs are met. She has worked with a variety of not-for-profit clients including nationally recognized public charities, private foundations, and health care provider systems; university endowment funds, retirement communities, utility cooperatives, national business leagues and chambers of commerce.

Robert J. Nowak, Jr., CPA, MST, is a senior tax manager in the firm’s Oak Brook, Illinois office. Nowak has 15 years of experience assisting businesses and individuals with tax matters in a variety of industries including tax-exempt organizations. He is an active speaker and author on tax issues related to not-for-profit organizations and is a participant in the Great Lakes Area Tax-Exempt Council.
