GOV. DOYLE ANNOUNCES BUSINESS PROJECT IN MARATHON COUNTY

MADISON- Gov. Jim Doyle today announced that the Village of
Rothschild, Marathon County, will receive a $100,000 Community Development
Block Grant-Public Facilities for Economic Development (CDBG-PFED) from the
Department of Commerce (Commerce). The grant will help the community
construct a new water tower to provide water capacity for Central Wisconsin
Finishing, LLC and other industrial users in the area. Central Wisconsin
Finishing, LLC, is an industrial power-coating operation that supplies
materials and equipment parts for manufacturers in the dairy and
small-engine industries.

“My Grow Wisconsin initiative promotes business development,” said Gov.
Doyle. “I am pleased that this award could be used to help the Village of
Rothschild support the continued growth of Central Wisconsin Finishing,
LLC.”

“This project will retain 20 jobs and represent public and private
investment totaling $711,000,” said Commerce Secretary Cory L. Nettles.

The CDBG-PFED Program awards grants to communities that seek to provide
infrastructure for a particular business development project. For further
