Appleton Raises Prices of Its Carbonless and Thermal Products Sold to International Markets

APPLETON, Wis., July 30 /PRNewswire/ — Appleton announced today that its International Division has notified its customers that the company has raised prices 7% for carbonless sheet products sold into Mexico. The company also raised prices 6% for all its direct thermal products sold to all international markets. The company said the increases are necessary to offset a portion of the extraordinary escalation of raw materials, energy, and transportation costs.

The increases are effective with shipments starting September 1, 2008.
