First Business Bank: Promotes Anthony L. Larson to First Vice President and Hires Stephen C. Machotka as Vice President of Commercial Banking

MADISON, February 18, 2004 – First Business Bank proudly announced today that Anthony Larson has been promoted to First Vice President and Stephen Machotka has been hired as Vice President of Commercial Banking.

Tony has been with the bank for over eight years and has over 21 years of commercial banking experience specializing in owner-managed businesses, wholesaler/distributors, real estate, and construction. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and obtained his MBA from Edgewood College. Mr. Larson has attended many commercial lending schools including the Wisconsin Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and the Wisconsin Bankers Association Advanced School of Commercial Lending. As a Madison native, he is active in many community activities including serving as Secretary/Treasurer for Advanced Employment (a supported employment agency) and participating in several committees at Edgewood College. He has also served on the loan committee for the Madison Development Corporation.

Steve has over 10 years of banking experience including five years in commercial lending. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a BS degree in economics and finance. Steve worked for two years as an internal bank auditor and two years as a credit manager at a medium sized regional bank before starting his career in commercial banking. Steve serves on the Board of Directors for RFDF, Inc., a non-profit human services organization and on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Dane County Foundation. He is also enrolled in the Leadership Greater Madison program sponsored by the Madison Chamber of Commerce.
